rocky ridges steep and cool hollows deep,
a rough hewn beauty of place
in and out of time
long rivers swiftly

That so totally describes Acadia last week – moving in and out of time. There’s not much changed about it in the last 50 years, except maybe a few more bathrooms and bigger trees.
