Our garden is beginning to bloom filled with columbine and bleeding hearts. The little volunteer dogwood and redbud trees are thriving – and we have our first blooms on one of the dogwoods this year – and one of the redbuds had one tiny bloom – it seemed so proud!
And as you can see, we will have a nice outbreak of frogapalooza soon – the pond is filled to the brim with tadpoles!
oh, I’m so glad you shared! I’ve been missing having a garden of my own lately – it helps to walk the neighborhood, but I love seeing what others have in their gardens… I just painted a little picture of a columbine yesterday afternoon – my mom always had them in her garden and I had them in mine π and can’t wait to see the frogs!
it is always a surprise to see what the columbine have decided to do with themselves each spring – many seem to be going to mauve and burgundy but there is always something completely new each year. Our hummingbirds are back – so must mean spring has finally made herself at home. Enjoy your day, my friend! K
beautiful images – my garden is a few weeks behind yours ;`)
Spring has settled in here finally – nice gentle rain today – easier to pull weeds tomorrow π
