its the insistence of grace
the cajoling and prodding
that makes it such a nuisance
it will not let me be
lost
only found
again and again and again
its the insistence of grace
the cajoling and prodding
that makes it such a nuisance
it will not let me be
lost
only found
again and again and again
Congratulations on this poem. It is subtly put together, and I love the understated word ‘nuisance’. Without flash and fireworks it doesn’t gain the attention it merits among all the other blogs on WP.
John,
I’m not sure how long you have been reading my poetry – years now, I think.
And on those occasions that you leave a message, you have always been so gracious and thoughtful. It is apparent that you have deeply read and considered my poem and that means so much to me.
Especially since I have had a long and excruciating dry spell during this period of grief.
So thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and for your continued support of my work.
I am deeply moved and grateful.
Kathleen
“The insistence of grace”………I love that……….and really like today’s angel, with her dark wings.
