Autumnal Equinox Posted on September 22, 2015 by The Course of Our Seasons sepia tones of fallen leaves and clotted clouds reflect on still water and the ease of breath, light and shadow. with every leaf pale hour, the minutes fall, leaves floating on the cool north breeze each wishing for equilibrium in autumnal rest. To me the autumn equinox is filled with sadness… for every day the night gets longer, and it feels like diving into dark waters.
This is a lovely, gentle poem beautifully capturing the sentiment of the season.
Equally beautiful, the photo and the poetic picture. Just lovely. So lucky you are, to live near water!
