Bright Saturday morning,
we wake to robinsong
and the cove drenched in sunlight.
We delight in the clear cold air,
after a fog filled November and December,
January has become sapphire and crystalline –
a jewel of morning, afternoon and evening-
a treasure worthy of kings.

That is just how welcome sunshine and color is, after the endless grey…..today the sun came out for a bit and it is already very warm here, like early spring…….my spirits lifted so much just from that bit of brightness.
