sunburned
dawn
stretches
across the waiting cove
into the new day
*** the sun was such a deep rosy red this morning and sent the color all the way across the water to the porch. The photos don’t do it justice, but take my word, it was gorgeous! Have a beautiful day! K

Love the reflection!
Yes, excellent… an almost American form of Haiku 🙂 Loved it..
Wonderful 🙂 ~Many Blessings~
I had planned to go to the beach this morning but clouds and rain put a damper on my plans. Your beautiful words and image brings a little brightness to my day!
Gorgeous. I love the way you used the word sun burned – a two word poem…
It was such a beautiful sunrise – was out filling hummingbird feeders and had to run in for my little camera before I missed it – would love to know what your camera would have seen in such a sunrise 🙂 K
Dear Kathleen, Beautiful poem and photos. I love the background for your site too, the celebration of the seasons.
Bringing forth a new day, just hope no literal sun burn comes to anyone haha
Pretty! I love how dawn stretches into a new day. Unique use of words. =)
