warm humid air –
moving the white curtains –
evening dance
***
sound of scurrying in the grasses-
small brown rabbits leap in the field –
the yip of a fox
***
night sounds –
low hum of the refrigerator,
trilling song of frogs,
the wings of owls
love the first one especially – the whole reason I sought out airy white cotton curtains was so that when I have the windows open, they’ll move with the breeze – just LOVE that 🙂
Hi Sarah – I take it you are off work today 🙂 I’m in all day meetings – yuck – will check back in tonight! Enjoy your day

My entire house has heavy white cotton curtains in every window- I LOVE them!
I really enjoy the mix of indoor and outdoor in this series. Combined with all the natural sounds of night, the hum of the refrigerator becomes a lively surprise!
Thanks, Jennifer – really happy you enjoyed these little snippets! K
I like the second and third ones here – especially the mood you capture in the last one.
Thanks so much for your kind words! K
Beautiful…made me remember the sound of crickets chirring on warm summer nights…and whipporwills calling. I love the sounds of the night and they do change with the seasons don’t they…
Nice.
Wish we could swap sounds.
and temperature 🙂
