Your words flow through my hands like water
Cool and crystalline clear springs
Scented with wintergreen
And fragrant watercress
Green living words sprout from the fertile earth
Pots of terra cotta lining the window sill
Broken seeds of thoughts
And buried memories
Fresh soft breezes of words waft across my face
Bringing the smell of freshing rain
The sound of deep thunder
And your renewing voice

This is beautiful. It gives me spring fever. Spring cannot come soon enough. I especially like your last stanza….the breezes, rain, and thunder!
Very refreshing read…just nice!

It’s never too early to dream…
especially on days like today filled with sleet and freezing rain – and the equinox just a few weeks away! K

The sound of deep thunder
And your renewing voice…a lovely write.
a lovely, longing poem… and who doesn’t long for spring, i wonder – it’s just natural (hope it comes soon)
Looking forward to spring here too – although there are some signs that it is really on its way. Enjoyed this naturalistic poem very much.
Thinking of spring is definitely a trend in your posts! I love the imagery as usual, especially the broken seeds of thoughts and buried memories. Sigh.

Ahhh Spring – we are starting to see very early signs – but maybe it is wishful thinking – Ice storm due tomorrow night! K
This was beautiful – I think I’m wanting it to be Spring too now. This is especially inspired:
“Fresh soft breezes of words waft across my face
Bringing the smell of freshing rain
The sound of deep thunder
And your renewing voice”
nice…metaphysical…the seeds becoming the flowers…and hte scent on the breeze…the echoing voice of creation…love it k…nature is that constant reminder…
