Cedar Wax Wing

Life is full of happy accidents – be aware and celebrate them!

The picture of this handsome fellow was caught unknowingly as I had my head out of my bedroom window, trying to take a picture of the lake. My camera battery went dead – but not before this picture was taken of a very surprised cedar waxwing! Love his yellow belly and the bright yellow at the very tip of his tail. He and his flock have stripped the berries from all the dogwoods and cedars in our yard but still come in for water in the birdbaths and pond.
