Soft as spider silk
Light as breath
Fabric baring threads
Of caress and comfort
Colors not
But night and light
Black white none
Easy to have
Kept as sleep
In the heart
Nodding to waking
Shed to skin
At the dawning
fabric bearing th wear of touch…makes me think of the quilt i have…my mom made it before i was born so its at least 40 years old and worn but this time of year we pull it out cause its so heavy and warm….but makes for a fine metaphor as well…smiles.
Hi. The light, spider silk feeling of this poem clings to every line… very nice… Jane
Sweet as the silk, very simple and nice. Gorgeous picture!
I feel like your poem wrapped itself around me, soft as silk. Not sticky as spider silk though!
Nancy
