I can really relate to your poem! One of the spiders that I recently photographed is a night spider. I’ve seen it during the day – it has better eyesight than the dogs! My only set of photos was when it got caught in the cold on its web in the early hours of the morning and you can’t see how big it actually is as it’s all hunched up. The tree it lived in was populated with mockingbirds and I think they eventually got it.
Hi. I love your poem. I read ‘moon-silver webs’ as one idea … I like poetry because you can see the words in various combinations… Jane
gorgeous — well penned.

Hi Kathleen, I enjoyed your beautiful post, especially your third poem, as we’ve been hearing an owl too…
