We worked in the yard on Sunday afternoon, mowing and weed eating. Okay, I didn’t do that – Bob did. But I did clean the weeds out of the cracks of the patio and that was a hard job! *smile* Also pulled weeds in the perennial beds and cleaned all the overgrown, weedy looking summer flowers (that were so beautiful a few months ago) out of the pots. The mums look great with the grass left from the summer arrangements. Pumpkins will be picked out at the local patch this weekend and added to the autumn display. I will post a photo when our little vignette is complete.
I love this time of year and always love the changing seasons as displayed at our doorstep. I would encourage you to put a mum out on your step or add a colorful leafy wreath on the door. An Autumn welcome to everyone who comes to your home!
Enjoy the season!
Hi. Since I am reading your posts backward, I see how lonesome the doorstep looks without your pumpkins! Jane
A few pumpkins always do the trick! : ) K

Thanks! K
Lovely mums! You know it’s autumn when you see the grocery stores selling those pots of mums. 🙂
Always looks so festive too – all the colors lined up together in front of store. I usually buy mine at the place I get pumpkins but these were very big and very cheap at the local grocery. Had to have ’em.
