We had a hard freeze last night – I think it was down to 16 – so now the hardiest of weeds and grasses have been frozen. As I was headed up the ridge, I spotted the rabbit frost this morning. The second picture show the whirls of frost coming from the stems. Wish my camera was better so you could see the intricacies of the frost – the curling and twisting is so beautiful. Another amazing sight in the course of our seasons.
Wow, you really found some big an elaborate frost flowers. Nice photos and I’m enjoying some of your writing. It’s nice to meet you.
Thanks – I was happy to find your blog and look forward to reading and seeing more of your photos, too. Have a great day – Kathleen
