With the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I have been thinking of the people on Flight 93. And what it means to be courageous. Would I be able to do that if faced with such circumstances? Would I recognize the challenge and be able to come to terms with the situation? How quickly could I react and would my fear be too overwhelming? I don’t know.
I think of these people – just ordinary, everyday people- from all walks of life – and hope that I would be up for the challenge and ready to defend my country to my last breath.
I hope I could.
God bless them.
