Yesterday was a dark, gloomy, cold, rainy, spring day in the Ozarks. We needed the rain but the temperature stayed about 48-50 degrees, so felt raw all day. It was a good day to do chores and laundry and listen to NPRs classical music all afternoon.
Then in the late afternoon, the cloud deck lifted and the colors of theĀ sunset hit the ridges east of us, turning the tops of the hills golden in the evening light. They justĀ glowed in the sunlight. A glorious way to end the day.
And, as always, another day in the course of our seasons!

I love your description of how the day changed!
Beutiful pictures!
Thanks! Wish you were here. We are busy cleaning off porches for the season – you could supervise! Love you, K
